Policy ID:

He has always been a photographer, and professional since 2005. He discovered that he was good at taking photos when he returned from a trip to Scotland in 2002 (but I had been bitten by the bug before, taking his father's camera on childhood trips )

Trained in renowned schools such as EFTI (Madrid) and many streets, many books and magazines. He participates in various competitions, is published in magazines, and has even exhibited his work in Madrid, Bilbao, Vitoria, Valencia, Castilla la Mancha, and even in Berlin, attending as a finalist on behalf of the RSF (Royal Photographic Society) of which he was a member.

His work is made up of images on film in various formats, from analog to digital. (Ilford 100D, Fuji, Kodak, Velvia 50) where the original black and white or slide was material that he particularly liked. In his early days, he even had his own small manual development laboratory at home and he would print his own work. Later, he worked with the best national laboratories where he took care of the printed quality on all types of surfaces and sizes. Part of his professional career was dedicated to travel or sports photography, but he also worked for fashion events, theater or weddings.

My Collection consists of 3 pieces.

Naranja Thai

As the common thread of this collection, the color orange, so present in every look in any corner of the country. From north to south of Thailand, the monks with their representative robes flood temples and streets, so one cannot return from the trip without that color on the retina. The images are from August 2006 with a Canon digital camera.

Efforts have been made to respect the intimacy of religion and people at all times, counting on their approval to share these personal moments to which I have had access. They are scenes of prayer, transfer (train or on foot), or daily tasks. The collection is complemented by other indisputable aspects of "the photo of Thailand", the smile that they have as national identity or the canals, Buddhas, and rice fields.

NP Niceper Planet

Imagine a planet somewhere in our Galaxy  that is inhabited by nice persons. Not necessarily nice people, because they are not human,  but nice persons, or Nicepers. Because that is what the inhabitants of this planet are called. Nicepers are more evolved than humans, because they have left their primordial insticts behind.

Nicepers do not go to war with eachother. They do not engage in petty arguments. Instead they all share a common vision of their existence which is simply to make life as easy and pleasant for one another as possible. Sounds great, doesn't it? What if all people on earth would behave like this? What if our main purpose was to first look after our fellow men and women, and be concerned about their happiness? This is the imaginary planet called NiceperPlanet, and this project aims to get us there...a little step at a time.
